At Derivion International Private Limited (“Derivion,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), operating under the brand ISFT (International School of Financial Trading), we are committed to maintaining transparent and fair policies for all students and clients engaging with our programmes and services. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be applicable.
1. General Policy
- All fees paid to Derivion are considered final and non-refundable, except as expressly outlined in this policy.
- Refunds are only considered in unavoidable and exceptional circumstances and must be formally requested in writing.
- All decisions made by Derivion’s management regarding refund eligibility shall be final and binding.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
A student may be eligible for a refund only if all of the following conditions are met:
- The refund request is submitted at least 14 calendar days before the scheduled programme start date.
- The reason qualifies as an unavoidable circumstance, which may include:
- Serious medical emergencies (supported by valid medical documentation)
- Visa refusal (with official rejection letter from the embassy or consulate)
- Other unforeseen events entirely beyond the student’s reasonable control, assessed on a case-by-case basis at Derivion’s sole discretion
3. Programme Deferral Option
As an alternative to a refund, students may request to defer their enrolment to the next available batch of the same programme, subject to the following:
- Deferral requests must be submitted in writing to info@derivion.in at least 14 calendar days before the programme start date.
- A one-time deferral is permitted. A nominal administrative fee of ₹5,000 will apply.
- Deferral to a batch more than 12 months from the original start date will not be permitted.
- Deferred enrolments are non-transferable to another individual.
4. Non-Refundable Fees
- Application fees, processing charges, and administrative costs are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Any third-party fees — including but not limited to examination fees, awarding body registration charges, university application fees, or visa fees — are governed by the respective third party’s policies and are not covered under this policy.
Note: Fees paid to our UK Academic Partner or awarding body for qualification registration are subject to their own refund and cancellation terms, which will be communicated to students at the time of enrolment.
5. Refund Process & Timeline
- All refund requests must be submitted via email to info@derivion.in, with supporting documentation as applicable.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the date of written confirmation of approval.
- Refunds will be credited only to the original mode of payment (bank transfer, card, or payment gateway used at the time of enrolment).
- Derivion reserves the right to request additional documentation before processing any refund.
6. Cancellations by Derivion
In the rare event that Derivion cancels a confirmed programme, workshop, or service:
- Students will be offered a full refund of fees paid directly to Derivion, OR
- An option to transfer enrolment to the next available batch at no additional cost.
Derivion will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses (including travel, accommodation, or visa costs) arising from a programme cancellation.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
